At least one, or what I've been doing at work...

Here's some real archaeological excitement - lay out all the pieces of broken dishes, plates, bottles, etc, from an archaeological site, and try to figure out what the minimum number of vessels are. My first guess is there's at least one here. Maybe 5.
There is the occasional small charming scene on transfer-printed ceramics. And this one's an identifiable pattern, too, with dates of manufacture! (We like dates.)
And I had a birthday the week before last. This cake was a shared cake between me (Valentine's Day) & the co-worker born on Feb 15, Susan B. Anthony's birthday.
There's knitting going on too. I'll have to post about that next. If the tiny, tiny pieces of ceramics don't drive me crazy first.

And now this

All our beautiful snow, gone overnight.

This is the backyard, with puddles of water on the frozen ground. Bleh.
On a brighter note, I found this great quilt pattern in the April 2008 McCall's Quilting.

Alternate color schemes could be

greenish blues? (probably not just these, now that I see them in the photo, there's so little variation in this bunch)or autumnal reds, browns, yellows & greens

Maybe a trip to the Candor quilt store sometime?
